Announcing our new website
We’re thrilled to kick off 2023 with the launch of our new website!
We had a lot of goals in mind when we set out to build this new website. First and foremost, we wanted to better showcase our product offering. Second, we wanted this site to serve as an information hub for both current and prospective customers (this one is a work in progress as our website continues to grow). Third, we wanted to have fun and show off our team’s creative skills.
So how long did it take us to create this site, from planning, to design, to build? A little over six months. That may seem like a while, but here is why the process wasn’t quick:
1. Crafting a quality website, much like any other product, takes time. We started mapping out the content for this new site in the summer of 2022. Design was completed in early fall and then we were able to move into development. You can’t design or build anything without ample planning.
2. We’ve been focused on our product. The bulk of our technology efforts have been geared towards hardware and software iterations.
3. Ours sales and marketing efforts have been focused on the most important type of marketing: one-on-one conversations with people. Our team has been busy traveling to conferences and talking to people as much as possible.
Who was involved?
This website redesign was a collaboration between RecRe and Storyware. RecRe’s co-founders (Griffin and I) mapped out the content, Wyndsor Hug from Storyware designed the site, and I led the build with some assistance from Justin Esders, one of Storyware’s developers.
The site was built on WordPress, leveraging many of the modern frameworks and tools that are used on our Laravel app platform.
What’s next?
We have big plans for our website in 2023 as our digital marketing efforts evolve. Expect to see more blog posts, information about our product options, real world case studies, and much more.
