Account Executive
Location: Remote

Compensation: Competitive Base + High Commission (Base salary will be determined by applicant’s experience)
This is a full time position that will require 40+ hours per week. Exact schedule can be discussed with Supervisor at time of hire.
Account Executive Duties & Responsibilities
RecRe is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Account Executive. The ideal candidate is someone with demonstrated sales success, is results-oriented, and comfortable in an evolving startup environment. The ideal candidate has a track record of building relationships and closing deals for new products and services.
As an Account Executive at RecRe, you’ll be responsible for driving new business through a mix of targeted outreach, inside sales, and relationship building. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in at least two prior sales roles who can excel in high-volume inside sales activity while also managing longer, consultative sales cycles. This role is designed for someone who is eager to quickly grow into a senior sales leadership position as RecRe continues to scale.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic Outreach: Identify and engage new campuses and properties using RecRe’s targeted sales approach.
- Inside Sales Execution: Drive high-volume outreach through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to generate and qualify new opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with administrators and stakeholders.
- Demos and Pitches: Lead compelling presentations, demos, and conversations in meetings, at conferences, and networking events.
- Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed quotas with a focus on new business development.
- Market Feedback: Share insights from the field to shape product improvements and sales strategies.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regionally and nationally (5–7 days per quarter).
- Other duties assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience across at least two prior roles
- Experience in inside sales and comfort with high-volume outreach
- Proven success in startup or SaaS environments, and/or selling into real estate or higher education markets with long sales cycles
- Experience working in a Remote Environment
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM
- Familiarity with higher education administration and operations is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented
- Comprehensive background check will be required
- Have no criminal convictions that would disqualify you from working on a university campus based on partner policies
