Account Executive

Location: Remote (Candidate must be based near a major metro area on the East Coast or in the Central Time Zone)

Organization: RecRe, Inc.

Compensation: Competitive Base + High Commission (Base salary will be determined by applicant’s experience)

This is a full time position that will require 40+ hours per week. Exact schedule can be discussed with Supervisor at time of hire.

Account Executive Duties & Responsibilities

RecRe is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Account Executive. The ideal candidate is someone with demonstrated sales success, is results-oriented, and comfortable in an evolving startup environment. The ideal candidate has a track record of building relationships and closing deals for new products and services.

As an Account Executive at RecRe, you will play a critical role in bringing our innovative rental management platform to new campuses and properties. You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with a wide range of administration-level contacts at higher education institutions, effectively communicating the value of our solution to their needs, and meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals set by RecRe leadership.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Outreach: Develop and execute strategies to identify and engage with new campuses and properties. Use our proven, targeted approach to connect with decision-makers in the higher education sector.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders at campuses and properties. Understand their needs and work with the RecRe team to tailor our offerings to meet these requirements.
  • Presentation and Pitching: Effectively present our services/products to potential clients through meetings, presentations, conferences, and networking events.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets, focusing on new business development and customer acquisition.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Provide feedback from the field to enhance our offerings and adapt our strategies to the evolving needs of the market.
  • Occasional overnight travel will be required 
  • Other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of higher education administration and/or operations
  • An innovative approach to solving problems
  • Minimum of two years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience working in a Remote Environment
  • Experience working with HubSpot or similar CRM
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally 5-7 days a quarter 
  • Highly motivated and results-driven
  • High school diploma required
